Lewes and Rehoboth Agents Clean Gordon's Pond Beach
On September 21, 2022, a team of agents from Coldwell Banker Premier's Lewes and Rehoboth Beach offices joined forces to clean a section of the Gordon's Pond Beach in Cape Henlopen State Park.
The beach clean up began in the parking lot near the pavilion before transitioning to the stretch of beach between the rock jetty on Gordon's Pond Beach to the two control towers.
"I'm always excited when it comes time to organize our beach cleanups," Director of Marketing and Technology Tyler Smiley stated, "It's a great way for our agents and staff to volunteer their time to a good cause that helps keep our local beaches clean for full-time residents and out of town guests alike."
This was the second beach cleanup Coldwell Banker Premier coordinated this year in conjunction with Delaware State Parks, and third overall. They are part of the Coldwell Community Care Program, or C3 Program, in which the company organizes different volunteer opportunities for their agents to give back to the local communities.
In attendance at this event were Dennis Barnes, Hal Blades and his wife Denise, Mary-Beth Pepper, and Tyler Smiley. The group removed approximately 33 pounds of trash off the beach in two hours of volunteer work.
Smiley, Barnes and Blades work from the Rehoboth Beach Office, located at 20184 Coastal Highway and Pepper works from the Lewes Office at 800 Kings Highway.
