Coldwell Banker Premier Celebrates 2022 at Annual Awards Breakfast
Coldwell Banker Resort Realty Recognizes Top Agents for 2022
In a breakfast meeting at Sussex County Association of Realtor’s facility, Coldwell Banker Premier held their annual Awards Banquet, celebrating the many accomplishments of 2022. The largest company news in 2022 was the January 2022 merger between Coldwell Banker Resort Realty and Coldwell Banker Premier. As both companies were well known multiyear successful franchisees of the Coldwell Banker network this news garnered national attention being featured in both Inman News and Real Trends. Through 2022 the combined companies served the region with 17 offices including 7 offices in Virginia, 3 offices in West Virginia, 4 offices in Delaware and three offices in Pennsylvania. In 2022 an additional 22 agents joined the Rehoboth, Lewes, Milford and Seaford offices. Coldwell Banker Premier continued to have eight agents licensed in Maryland and 26 agents in the affiliated company Resort Referral Services LLC. The combined efforts of all branches led to a continued strong presence as an industry leader.
Bruce Plummer, Broker led the meeting and reflected on the 2022 ever changing Real Estate market. As in years past, Bruce was most proud of the results of the annual compilation of Client Satisfaction Survey results which continued to speak to the level of professionalism among the agents. 2022 results revealed that 97.70% of survey respondents were “very satisfied” and 98.85% would recommend and/or use the services of Coldwell Banker Premier again.
Coldwell Banker Premier’s Rental Division worked especially hard to transition to new trends in the vacation rental industry including less than seven day stays and travelers with higher expectations and a stronger desire to travel with their pets. The Rental Division continued their growth in market share by increasing Internet exposure for the company’s rental clients through partnering with websites such as Trip Advisor, Findrentals.com, Flip Key and VRBO. These efforts were memorialized by “Real Trends” recognizing Coldwell Banker Premier as a “Rental Power Broker” placing them nationally as #6 for Tenants Placed and #9 for Leased Rental Listings.
The sales department continued it’s dominance in Relocation Services and was recognized nationally as a member of the Coldwell Banker President’s Club, a recognition given to only the top 25 of 540 Anywhere Franchise Brokers nationwide. Coldwell Banker Premier was also honored for a ninth time as a Platinum winner for lead conversion.
Coldwell Banker Premier for the first time was welcomed into the Chairman’s Circle ranking the firm within the top 50 Coldwell Banker companies in the world.
Coldwell Banker Premier remained the only real estate firm with approval from the Delaware Real Estate Commission to teach a new agent course, PROPEL. PROPEL encompasses seventeen courses for newly licensed agents and combines best practices, company tools and programs, and local market expertise to provide new agents with exactly what they need to run a business.
As COVID restrictions were lifted, 2022 brought a renewed commitment to the community with events such as beach cleanup days at the Cape Henlopen State Park, a book bag drive collecting supplies for local schools, and a food drive collecting food for the Food Bank of Delaware, an effort labeled the Hunger Games among the offices. Coldwell Banker Premier concluded the year by collecting holiday toys for children in need at all locations. Coldwell Banker Premier agents were also welcomed back into the community participating in events such as Apple Scrapple in Bridgeville, the Bark on the Boards in Rehoboth, Riverfest in Seaford and the Riverwalk Freedom Festival in Milford.
“Critical to the success of our firm is the strength of the Coldwell Banker brand.” said Kathy Kiernan Newcomb, Vice President of Business Development. Coldwell Banker has remained strong as a Real Estate company for 115 years. The Coldwell Banker brand is the oldest and most established residential real estate franchise system in North America. In fact, in many ways it was the original real estate “start up.” Founded by young entrepreneurs Colbert Coldwell in 1906 and later Benjamin Banker, Coldwell Banker changed the way people bought and sold homes across America, ultimately becoming one of the most trusted real estate brands in the world. More than 100 years later, the Coldwell Banker network is still continuously recognized for its innovation and leadership across 3,000 offices in 49 countries and territories.
