Coldwell Banker Premier Hosts a Beach Cleanup
On Wednesday, August 25, a team of agents from Coldwell Banker Premier's Lewes and Rehoboth Offices got together in Cape Henlopen State Park to clean up a beach!
This beach cleanup marks the start of Coldwell Banker's Community Giveback Program, which aims to give back to and support the local communities where they have offices.
"The beach plays an important role in the rental side of our business, so it's important that we try to help keep it clean," said Tyler Smiley, the Director of Marketing for Coldwell Banker.
The section of beach cleaned by the agents was at the Point Comfort Station, and they worked their way back to the main pavilion beach. Bags of trash were then disposed of after the event, which Smiley said is the first of many future cleanups.
It wasn't just trash the agents found in their time on the beach. Dennis Barnes of the Rehoboth Office also found a large piece of pottery, which he sent in to Delaware State Parks for identification.
