A proud alum of the University of South Carolina, Tyler Smiley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in December 2017 with double majors in Marketing and Human Resources Management, and a double minor in Spanish and French. Upon graduation, Tyler decided to move to Rehoboth Beach where he had been vacationing since he was an infant and begin his career.
After working as the Social Media Manager for Beach Time Distilling in Lewes for a year, Tyler decided to pursue his real estate career in June 2019, becoming licensed in August of the same year. He joined Coldwell Banker Resort Realty as a rental agent, where he assisted guests in their search for weekly rentals and tenants in need of long-term rentals in the area.
The opportunity to transition to the Director of Marketing and Technology was offered to Tyler in February 2021, and he began his time in that position in March of 2021. Tyler also works as a sales agent on weekends and after hours.
Outside of the office, Tyler can be found exploring the area for new adventures or working on his photography hobby. He enjoys finding new places in the area he was unaware of before, but can also be found beachcombing or photographing wildlife and landscapes.
